Mike Schuster provides comprehensive financial planning and investment advisory services to his clients. For nearly 20 years, he has helped his clients address their financial concerns and develop strategies by focusing on each individual’s specific needs. With extensive experience guiding clients through major shifts in the markets, Mike has dedicated his career to delivering the personalized holistic planning services his clients deserve. 

Schuster was born and raised in Grand Island, Nebraska and is a graduate of Grand Island Central Catholic. Mike joined the United States Air Force and served overseas in Europe. After completing his service in the military, he attended Bellevue University where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 1998. He went on to complete a Master of Business Administration degree from University of Nebraska in 2004. 

Mike developed his fundamental investment knowledge when he began his career with Principal Financial Group® in 1998. He joined Wells Fargo Investments (now Wells Fargo Advisors) in 2001, before moving to Principal Securities in 2013. While still working with Principal®, Mike created Schuster Anderson Wealth Advisors in 2017. He earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in March of 2019. 

Mike has a very clear passion for his community. He has worked with many local non-profit groups, including past service to Hall County Leadership Tomorrow, College Park, Hope Harbor, United Way, Central Nebraska Clean Community System, Citizens Advisory Review Committee, Central Catholic Development Foundation and Central Nebraska Goodwill. Mike is actively serving on the Riverside Golf Club Operating Board of Directors. 

Mike and his wife, Michelle, have three children, Hannah, Hailey, and Caden. Mike keeps busy by following the kids’ activities. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time at the lake, running, golfing, and watching The Nebraska Huskers and Kansas City Chiefs play football.
